Hey! I have a lot of tips I can share with you.
1) Practice makes beauty. Take take take take take take take pictures! Within all of the pictures you take, there's always 2-6 that come out really well- and when you get better that number starts to increase.
2) Find your style!!!
Try to play around with your camera's features, see what suits you and what you enjoy taking pictures of. I know, a friend of mine on deviantART named snapdragon55 ( [link] ) found an interest in taking macro pictures (pictures of close-ups) and she got a daily deviation. That's a big deal! Me? I take interest in stillness; I work well with models who pose, natural landscapes, architecture, etc. I don't work well with sports environments where there's a lot of movement.
3) Learn about your camera.
Learn about its features, find out what everything does. Without knowing what camera does and getting comfortable, how will you make good photos?
